01. How Account Deletion Works
In accordance with Google Play Store Data Safety policies and India's DPDP Act 2023, users of Gowaal have the full right to delete their accounts and request the erasure of their personal information.
You can delete your account instantly from within the mobile application or submit an authenticated request through the online form below.
02. Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted
Upon processing your deletion request, the following information is permanently erased from our active databases:
- User Profile: Full name, registered phone number, email address, and avatar image.
- Authentication Credentials: Session tokens, Google OAuth links, and active device logins.
- Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device push tokens.
- Vendor/Customer Linkages: Route assignments, dairy code mappings, and claim code associations.
03. Retention Exceptions (Legal Obligations)
Historical billing timestamps or aggregated delivery count logs may be retained in anonymized form solely to comply with statutory accounting and tax regulations in India governing vendor-consumer commercial records. No personally identifiable information (PII) will remain attached to these records.
04. Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion
Fastest Method
If you still have the Gowaal mobile app installed on your Android device:
- Open the Gowaal app.
- Go to Profile / Settings > Account & Security.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the verification prompt. Your session and account will be invalidated immediately.
05. Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your phone, fill out the form below. When you click Submit Deletion Request, it will generate a standardized verification email directly to our support desk (technograde007@gmail.com).
